Who We Are
James Plude Custom Building LLC is family owned by James and Donna Plude 2nd generation building contractors with over 30 years experience in the residential and commercial construction. We are centrally located in Oakville Connecticut allowing us to serve the entire state.
How We Began
In 1981, James Plude Building and Home Improvements was started concentrating on general home improvements. In 1984 the company moved into residential framing and interior trim serving residential and commercial general contractors. In 1997 The name was changed to James Plude Custom Building LLC and the company started building custom homes along with full kitchen and bathroom remodeling. In 2005 we noticed the need for specialized “Age in Place” home modifications for the boomer generation and expand the scope of our company again to serve this up and coming market along with Insurance repair work.
